Kayak Paddle Rim Rubber Kit

The better quality paddles out there with glass or carbon blades tend to get smaller over time in shallow rivers. Rim Rubber made a big difference for me in keeping my new paddle's blades the same size for 5 years when my friends' paddles went down a size in one season. I did have to touch up the adhesive about once a season in the high wear areas on the end of the blade, but otherwise this has lasted well. Some people have tried using various cockpit edging or automotive trim on their paddle blades, but most of these options I've seen change the feel of the blade in the water; not so for Rim Rubber, at least that I could notice.
